Salt Spring Saturday Market 2009

Salt Spring Saturday Market is Canada's best loved outdoor arts, crafts, and farm market.

Each Saturday, from April 4, 2009 through the last Saturday in October. From about 8am - 4pm, rain or shine.

Oceanside at Centennial Park in the heart of Ganges on Salt Spring Island, in the Gulf Islands of British Columbia on Canada's west coast.

Internationally acclaimed arts and crafts from Canada's "Island of the Arts".

Potters, jewelers, fiber artists, woodworkers, and fine decorative arts.

Farmstead cheeses, organic foods, music, and free festive fun.

What's so different about this market? It's the Homespun Guarantee.

Vendors must "make it, bake it, or grow it" themselves, and all products must be "vendor produced and sold". These simple mandates are the essence of our market.

Visitors are treated to local creations stemming from Salt Spring's unique brand of "island ingenuity". Highest caliber creativity and production standards make Salt Spring Island home to the greatest collection of artists in Canada.

At Salt Spring Saturday Market, enjoy meeting more than 140 artisans of all types; contributors to Salt Spring's international reputation as a hotbed of fine world-class artists and organic farmers.
